Hetzner offers free stateful cloud firewalls for security. You apply inbound and outbound rules to individual servers or groups labeled together. This service helps manage network traffic access directly within the cloud environment without extra costs for the firewall feature itself.

Choose this when you need basic traffic filtering per server or label without complex setup. Be aware that while the firewall is free, there is no free tier for the underlying infrastructure, so you still pay for the servers themselves on a pay-as-you-go basis.
