Cloud Servers
Hetzner’s Cloud Servers offer scalable virtual machines running on either shared or dedicated vCPUs. The billing structure is straightforward: you pay hourly for usage, but the system applies a monthly price cap to prevent runaway costs. This setup handles standard compute workloads without requiring you to commit to long-term contracts upfront.
Starting at $3.49 per month, these instances suit developers and small teams needing predictable, low-cost infrastructure. The main friction point is the complete absence of a free tier, meaning every test or prototype incurs immediate cost. While the hourly billing with a cap offers flexibility, you must budget for every active instance from day one, as there is no zero-cost entry point for experimentation.
