AWS Transfer Family handles file transfers over SFTP, FTPS, and FTP without you managing servers. It’s a fully managed service that handles the infrastructure, letting you move data securely between your on-prem systems and AWS storage. You get the protocols you expect, but AWS runs the underlying scaling and availability so you don’t have to patch or monitor transfer nodes.

This fits teams already in AWS who need secure file ingestion without building their own transfer infrastructure. The catch is there’s no free tier and pricing requires contacting sales, so you can’t estimate costs upfront.
